TheSocialMillionaire – Another Million Making Idea

Millionaire making ideas Taking example of some mind-blowing million making ideas like Million Dollar Homepage, Today lets talk about another million making fact. You might have read about a boy in London who created a home page “Million Dollar Homepage”  and sold 1X1 px ads for $1 and made 1 million dollar within five months.

Now lets take another millionaire making idea example today The Social Millionaire.

The overall idea of The Social Millionaire is very simple; the site is focused around a list of links where users can bid on keywords they would like to be associated with, and the highest bidder gets their keyword link displayed.

At a first glance, the site seems almost like a very common “link dump”, but once you take a look at the finer details, you start to realize that this is much more original.

It has a lot of great things going for it; first of all, the auction system for bidding on keywords really helps create a sense of competition. That’s because some keywords are definitely eye catching and recognizable. Take this for example, listed are “John Chow”, and “ProBlogger” keywords, yet neither are owned by their respective sites. These keywords stand out from the pack, since they are known by many, and will draw more clicks.

There could be some interesting bids on these high profile keywords, and as the bids rise, the keyword weight (font size) grows as well. I’m looking forward to seeing how the large block of keywords may be organized further in the future, when maybe thousands will be listed.

What’s more important about this site though, and something that is really driving it’s success, is the “Social” part of The Social Millionaire. Pat Hankinson, the owner of this site, is using social networks as a primary way to drive traffic. He is creating a very unique persona, and even in his about page, he believes people will want to be associated with his name (and brand) in social networks. This is a very unique idea, and I think it adds a whole new dimension to what he is doing with the site.

He is also buying a lot of high profile reviews, such as on John Chow, John Cow, and Jonathan Volk’s blogs and I think this is an extremely smart move on his part to build the initial momentum of this site. Now that he has some figures to show ($2,448 earned, 351 friends at the time of writing), and some community response about the traffic results from buying links, he is overcoming the initial hurdle of starting a new site and I’m sure the traffic will continue to grow very fast from here on out.

So as you can see, with a little marketing know how, a unique approach, and a creative idea, you really can see some amazing results online. I do recommend that you check out The Social Millionaire and read up on Pat’s approach to creating these new concept sites, and perhaps buy a link or two to experiment yourself!

Points to remember while using twitter as business tool

Twitter as a business tool Twitter is an excellent tool to which lets you update among 1000’s of people following you. It’s being widely used as one of the most successful marketing tool.

Here are few things that you should remember while using Twitter as a business tool. But keep in mind that your that you have to socialize also don’t use it for the business purpose alone.

  • Update your profile – Keep your profile updated and current with any new developments or projects currently in the works. This helps your customers understand where you are going as a business and it also makes them aware of any changes you have planned.
  • Stay professional – While it may be fun to get into a heated debate over who will win the Kentucky Derby, keep your tweeting business oriented. It is not a bad thing to express your opinion every once in a while, but do make sure that it falls directly in line with the mission statement and operating procedures of the company under whose name you are tweeting. If you are a sole proprietor, obviously you have the decision making power here, but if you are in business with others, develop a policy for how individuals will tweet.
  • Be personal – People like to know they are talking with actual people. In this age where digital voices prompting our actions are standard, people find great delight in the ability to communicate with intelligent human people who can actually listen and respond rather than deal with canned impersonal messages that don’t meet their individual needs and desires.
  • Give to get – Do not, I repeat, do not, just spam your followers with announcements of new products or websites for them to look at. Converse with them, answer their questions and ask them exactly what they are looking for. Once again, be human and socialize with them. It is ok to interact with your customer online the same way you interact in a face to face meeting, just keep it professional.
  • Use tracking devices – Implement the use of hashtags and other tracking devices as searchable references for your customers. This makes it easy for them to follow you and your business developments. The easier it is to follow you and what you are doing, the better chance you have they will actually do it. Let your customers know when you have initiated a new search term and what those terms mean to them. Your business is about helping the customer get to your product as easy as possible. Hashtags are a great tool to help this happen.
  • Make their life easy – While conversing with your prospects, make sure to ask if there is anything they believe your business can do to improve – and then listen. Customer feedback is one of the most valuable tools to a business. What better way to get feedback than online when you are already in conversation with them? You can develop customer loyalty simply through listening to and responding to their opinions.

The biggest mistake I was making on Twitter is tweeting only like a deaf machine. What i used to do is I was tweeting like this “Google announced RSS ads – link:” I was never replying to @messages. Don’t be a machine like I was, whose work is to post and post only, check your replies and messages, respond to questions and be human. Business is build with strong relation so don’t forget about it.

ibibo ads – Indian Publisher Network

Ibibo ads Last year Ibibo launched a CPA program, Adwinks, for both for advertisers and publishers. I just thought to give it a try, but it didn’t worked well for me. Recently last month, they transformed the Adwinks program to Ibibo ads. Now, Ibibo ads seems to be interesting.

I think, Ibibo ads is made for Indian Publishers only. Currently they have not vey large advertisers network, but by time they will gain more.

They serve ads on CPC(Cost Per Click), CPA(Cost Per Action) and CPM(Cost per Impression) basis. Out of which I liked CPC and CPA ads most.

I have a blog on VOIP which I’ve totally ignored in the past, but the blog is still getting near about 100-150 visitors daily. I then thought to utilize the blog’s traffic, then I placed a CPA ad on the blog which is paying 25 bucks per action made. Now, I’m making 700-900 bucks daily with a blog which I used to ignore in the past.

Ibibio ads

If your website/blog is getting  majority number of visitors from India, then this is just fit for you. Most of the advertisers in the program are targeting Indian visitors.

As the program is new, I can’t commit that how much it would be good for the you. But yes, it’s making me a good amount of money for doing nothing.

Also, they are going to make another change in their website, confirmed their representative.

You can Sign Up for Ibibo ads from here.
