Adsense Checks to India via BlueDart for Free

Google has removed the Secure Check delivery feature from Indian Publishers account. They are no more charging for the Check Delivery. Actually, Now the Indian publishers will receive Google checks through Blue Dart, which will be free of charge. The Secured Check was charging $25 to the publishers but now it’s free.

Also the publishers can track their check thru Blue Dart’s tracking Service. Google has introduced this new rule because of the suggestions received by Indian Publishers to introduce some quick and cheap way to send the payments like some Direct Debit type facility. Or May be they will now send the check from India instead of Dublin which could be the reason of cost cutting.

Checks mailed by Blue Dart would arrive within 10-30 days of the check date, which is quite a long period but considerable one. In my opinion it’s better than the last one as, I think that checks from Blue Dart should arrive within 10 days rather than 10-30 days.

Also they says that “Blue Dart is not able to service all areas throughout India. If you live in a location they don’t service, your check will be sent by Registered Post and should reach you within 2-3 weeks of the mailing date.”

Thank you Adsense Team for this wonderful service.

Google Adsense Webinar – Optimization Tips by Adsense Experts

Make Most Out of Adsense On April 1st Google has conducted Adsense Webinar, for which I signed up, but due to some some personal problem I didn’t joined it. They were able to accommodate only first 500 publishers and luckily I was one of them.

This was 1hour session in which the Adsense’s Optimization Team members were demonstrating the ways that how can we make more with Adsense using few optimization techniques.

Day before Yesterday, I got an email from Adsense Team in which they shared a video link which is the recording of the one hour session.

Here is the video of the one hour session.

Also they shared few FAQ’s during the session.

Does adding additional ad units to your pages decrease CPC or eCPM?
Usually, most publishers see overall revenue gains if they place more ad units on their pages. Publishers may see a decrease in the average "eCPM" in their account, but this is expected because the additional ads on a page will usually generate lower per-click revenue. For example, the top 4 ads on a page will generate the most revenue through our auction model, and the next 5-8 ads will generate lower amounts. However, the overall revenue generated will usually be higher for the publisher.

Why are there large revenue fluctuations?
Many factors affect earnings including ad format, ad placement, user behavior and advertiser spending behavior. We recommend checking out our two-part blog post series on diagnosing revenue fluctuations to help troubleshoot your own issue.

I am doing everything right, but still earning low revenue. What else can I do?
Growing your user base is key to improving your revenue. Use analytics to better understand where your users are coming from and what content is most popular to cater to your users’ needs.

What is the performance difference between the 300×250 and the 336×280 units?
The 336×280 usually has a higher CTR; however we tend to have a higher image inventory for the 300×250 unit. Ultimately, both the large and medium rectangles are two of our top performing ad units, so using the one which fits most seamlessly into your site design is key.

Also they warned me that, from next time the publisher who will attend the webinar will get this notification. So it’s better to attend the session from the next time.

Why Placing Adsense Image Ads in your Website is a Smart Step?

Google Adsense You might had read or listened that placing Adsense image ads in a blog/website is not a smart way to earn more. Well, that may be true, but frankly speaking I don’t think so.

In opinion, one should place at least one Adsense image unit in their respective blog/website. I’m not following any myth, I’ve few reasons that could prove me true.

If you are a blogger, and you have some good amount of readers, than you might be aware, that regular readers are less likely to click on your Ads. But this theory is not same with the image units, becoz image ads are generally based on CPM(Cost Per Impression), means you get paid for impressions not clicks. So, even if your visitors are not interested in your ADS, still their visiting will pay you off.

The best working image ad formats are:

Wide Skyscraper (160×600)

Wide Skyscraper (160x600)

Skyscraper (120×600)

Skyscraper (120x600)

Medium Rectangle (300 x 250)

Medium Rectangle (300 x 250)

Large Rectangle (336 x 280)

Large Rectangle (336 x 280)

So , isn’t grabbing $0.01 instead of $0 is a smart step? What do you think?

What you have to do now?

Nothing, Just go to your blog/website’s admin panel and just add an image unit to your side bar.
