Adsense will introduce "Category Filtering" Feature soon

Sponsored Links

"Category Filtering" Today Adsense team announced on their blog that soon they’ll going to launch a feature "Category Filtering". This feature will help publishers in blocking ads that fall into specific categories.

How this feature will be helpful?

Category filtering will give publishers the ability to block ads that fall into specific categories such as dating, religion, and politics. Regardless of how ads are targeted, they'll be filtered if they're within one of the selected categories. We'll also show the percentage of recent revenue that ads in each category generate, so publishers can predict how filtering selections will impact their revenue.

"Category Filtering"

They will launch this feature under beta testing and will serve to limited number of publishers. So I think we can expect this feature to be in after the official launch only.

I’m curiously waiting for this feature as it will help in boosting the CTR and hence the overall AdSense Revenue. Also this will help in getting better targeted advertising.

Thank you Google for considering this feature and I hope that you people will launch it  very soon.

Yes that's really a cool feature, but first we have to wait till the adsense team launch it.

@Mohan Thanks for your comment:
Google is not approving new applications easily these days.

Tell me exactly what they have told you in the email. May be I can help you.

Also, Keep in touch as I will show you "how to get approved by adsense" in my next post.

One more thing, there is no time limit to apply for a new adsense a/c. You can apply for a new a/c at any time.

It's a pleasure for me to help you, whenever you need help just drop your comment, I'll be happy to help you.
And yes you'll need to have another adsense account.Follow the steps which I've posted in my latest post. Once you get an adsense account than you can place the ads code at any blog you wish.
